Blossoming Buds is a small, safe and intimate Parent, Guardian and Child Learning and Wellness Hub based in Kirkham, close to Blackpool and Preston.

We run a carefully planned timetable of baby and toddler classes that focus on movement, relaxation and child-led play. Everything we do is about creating space for connection. Between you and your child, and between families who might otherwise feel like they’re doing this alone.

Alongside our classes, we now also have a play café. A relaxed space where little ones can play safely while parents and guardians enjoy a hot drink, a simple bite to eat, and a moment to pause. No rush, no pressure, no need for everything to be perfect.

Our aim is simple. To increase bonding opportunities for parents and guardians while supporting your little one’s brain development in a way that feels calm, natural and pressure-free.

We know that parenthood can be joyful and overwhelming at the same time. That’s why supporting parental mental health is just as important to us as supporting children. Our downstairs space is open Tuesday to Thursday mornings and is completely free to use. It’s there if you need somewhere safe to sit, talk, feed, breathe or just exist for a bit.

We also offer free nappies, wipes and sanitary products as part of our commitment to supporting families and helping tackle period poverty. You don’t need to explain yourself. Just ask to use the bathroom or help yourself to nappies from under the changing unit. No questions asked.
